If you buy a counterfeit purse from someone using a credit card…?

and them decide to file a dispute with the credit card company.

Do you think the seller would respond back and try to fight the chargeback?

If you knew the item was counterfeit, bought it anyway, but decided you didn’t want it.

What should I do with alertpay?

If some do not know, alertpay is like paypal, except with more limitations.

Here’s my situation, I recently bought some goods from a seller, and we did a transaction through alertpay. I sent him a partial payment, and he was suppose to send partial/all the goods, then I would send him the remaining balance.

Alertpay has a policy that requires buyers to inform them that they receive the goods before alertpay can release the funds to the seller. I didnt realize that and waited a week and still no goods. I contacted the seller and he stated that alertpay was not going to release the funds until I told them I received the goods, even though I have not received it.

The seller was not going to ship anything until he made sure he received money before he shipped it. I contacted alertpay and informed them I received it, and to release the funds to the seller.

Now the seller refuses to ship, and wants more money. I contacted alertpay and provided them with the email conversation I had with the seller, and about clearly how he states he wanted the funds before shipment. Now alertpay thinks I am involved in a fraudulent activity, and they refused to refund my money.

They stated if I filed a chargeback with my credit card money, they will fight against it.

Is there anything I can do? Can I still contact my credit card company and see if I can file a chargeback??

thanks..

Credit Card Dispute on eBay/Paypal. What should I do???

I have a problem here. Anyone who knows how to fix this, please let me know.
I sold an item to a buyer on eBay. Buyer paid (but did not opt for insurance). I packed nicely and shipped as usual. Unfortunately, there was something bad happened during the delivery. The package arrived to buyer damaged and out of shape. Was unable to file claim with post office (since no insurance was bought). I offered to share a portion of loss with the buyer but the buyer wanted more. I refused and now the buyer went to file chargeback with credit card. Is that reasonable? Will Paypal send me the chargeback? Can I fight back? What can I do to protect myself? At the beginning I set the insurance as optional. However, the buyer did not take the option and now the buyer do not want to take the loss. What shall I do?
The buyer filed chargeback/dispute with his credit card company (not Paypal). Will Paypal frozen my money due to this when they receive the chargeback notice from the credit card company? Can I fight back successfully? The buyer returned the damaged item to me without giving me notice. The buyer bought insurance on the returned package (damaged goods). Did this violate any postal regulations?
